Joyce Ann Albert, 77, a lifelong resident of Scranton, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026, at Regional Hospital, Scranton, due to an illness.

Born in Scranton on July 10, 1949, the daughter of Roman and Jessie Zenkus Redzinski, she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1967.

She worked at Arby’s and Wendy’s for many years. Her favorite pastimes were reading, Bingo, bowling, listening to music, and watching TV-- crime and game shows particularly, and anytime her beloved Steelers and Yankees were on, especially.

Her kids and fur babies were most important to her and she loved spending time with family.

Joyce is survived by her son, Gerald Albert, Jr., and significant other, Beverly Harris, Scranton, her daughter, Jamie Albert, and partner Harley Rought, Scranton, a grandson, Jordan Albert, and former husband, Gerald Albert, Sr.

She was also preceded in death by her parents Roman and Jessie Redzinski.

Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Frank M. Regan Funeral Home, 323 William Street, Scranton.
